| The World Factbook (also known as the CIA
World Factbook) is an annual publication of the Central Intelligence
Agency of the United States with almanac-style information about the countries
of the world. The Factbook provides a two- to three-page summary of the
demographics, geography, communications, government, economy, and military
of over 270 U.S.-recognized countries, dependencies, and other areas
in the world.
This Mobipocket edition of the Factbook includes everything in the CIA World
Fact Book. Unlike the other editions you see on the site, this edition has not
been abridged but includes it all. Other editions simply give you the
country listings and the data from there. This edition gives you all of the rest
